Giuse "Joseph" Nguyễn Chí Linh (born 22 November 1949) is the bishop of Thanh Hóa in Vietnam since 2004.〔"(Bishop Joseph Nguyen Chi Linh )", ''Catholic-Hierarchy'' 〕 Giuse "Joseph" is his Christian name, while Nguyễn Chí Linh is his Vietnam name.〔(Catholic.org.tw Ðức Cha Giuse Nguyễn Chí Linh )〕 ==Early life== Linh was born in Ba Lang, Tinh Gia, Thanh Hóa Province, Bắc Trung Bộ, Vietnam, on 22 November 1949, the son of Christian parents (Thiher Giaia, Thanh Hóa) from a modest background. He attended the minor seminary in Nha Trang (1962–67), the school école de la Providence divine ("Divine Providence") in Huế (1967–68), the secondary school collège du Bon Pasteur ("Good Shepherd") in Nha Trang (1968–70) and the Pontifical College of St. Pius X in Da-Lat (1970-1977).
